ST as a major STB provider demonstrated the multimedia trend and highlighted the important positioning on Cortex-A9 + Mali-400 as their next platform.

Ubiquitous showed how a 1 sec boot up on a typical home appliance for Android/Linux is key.
Opens Embedded Software Foundation (OESF) highlighted their role as the platform for non-mobile developers of Android/Linux.

Socle has adopted Mali-200 with ARM1176 and demoed Android at the event. The market response to their platform is great.
Demos included Mali-200, Mali-400, Cortex-A9 and Android across multiple platforms.

Tom in the industry accumulated more than 20 years of experience, place of work encompasses the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific region, product areas across the MFP, CD Player, multifunction printers, scanners, and mobile phones, product development, market development and marketing. Prior to joining ARM, Tom worked at Philips, Intel and other companies for a number of different businesses, toured the United States and Asian countries.
