Erik Ploof, Special Projects Director, ARM, He joined ARM in 1998 to foster the relationship between ARM & Microsoft. In 2002 he became director of corporate marketing and responsible for stewarding the ARM brand and product brand architecture. He has maintained this role for the past 11 years. In addition, he is responsible for ARM’s Physical IP division Marcom activities. Erik has extensive experience in brand management, name creation, developing brand equity and PR and media relations. As a member of industry marketing councils, Erik has developed the IPXACT and HANA consortium brands. Also, Erik is the Editor-in-Chief of Information Quarterly (IQ) magazine; an industry design journal with a global circulation of 55,000. Prior to joining ARM, Erik was Director of Strategic Relations for Motorola.
